The Mews is located in the Staffordshire countryside which provides accommodation for 8 residents across 2 levels. The Mews 24 hour care facility is located close to the towns Stafford and Stone with easy access to local amenities and all major motorways and rail routes.

Service users are free to personalise their personal spaces to their taste and preferences. Each new service user is provided with a care plan that is carefully tailed to their individual needs, preferences and wishes. Service users have a keyworker who work closely with them to plan and go on activities both in and out of house, personal shopping and goal setting for their future.

Our focus is on promoting independence with residents and integrating them in the local community. We are passionate that The Mews is the service users home’s and not our workplace and this is shown in the comfy homely environment. It is important to us to respect the variations in individual needs, interests, views, lifestyle, hobbies and personalities and the staff will make this an inclusive part of an individual’s Care Plan.

We have a dedicated activities programme which provides a personalised timetable including; professional’s appointments, exercise, work placements, day centres, sensory room, hydro therapy pool sessions, exercise, cinema trips, theatre trips, games night, arts and crafts, baking/cooking and so much more. Each resident’s keyworker works closely with them designing their chosen timetables and discussing their likes and preferences to ensure this is a person centric plan. Promoting independence, fun and fulfilment is at the heart of this vibrant home.
