Our acquired brain injury rehabilitation is focused on improving the quality of life and promoting independence while providing intensive brain injury rehabilitation programs. The purpose-built facilities at Select Healthcare homes for brain injury rehabilitation include hypnotherapy baths, large ensuite bathrooms, wheelchair access, fully equipped physiotherapy areas, onsite sensory rooms with sensory therapy and onsite gym facilities. At Select Healthcare, carefully structured brain rehabilitation programs and care plans are created by multidisciplinary teams of registered general nurses, therapists, consultant neurologists, rehabilitation therapists and assistants and medical practitioners. Assessments and behavioural programmes created by neuropsychologists and residents can access physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy. Regular reviews of assessments and care plans ensure the needs of our residents are continually met.
