Select Healthcare are a leading provider of respite care in Staffordshire, offering individuals who require increased levels of care to have a break from their home circumstances, and indeed easing some of the strain of the carer in the instances this may be an older relative or family friend.
All of our respite care homes in Staffordshire strive to make the respite care experience as warm and welcoming as possible for our guests, so we put a strong emphasis on creating a sociable environment. Mealtimes in the dining room are often considered a lively gathering in our Staffordshire respite care homes and we have a team of activities co-ordinators who create a monthly activities plan for all guests to participate in, this includes everything from Old Time Sing-a-longs, Arts and Crafts, Bingo Nights to social outings, excursions and beyond.
We also host seasonal events and meals throughout the year for Easter, Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas, and we always encourage relatives and friends to join in with these events.
