Meadow Court Care Home Overview

Meadow Court is a purposely adapted specialist mental health service that provides an alternative to an extended hospital admission for people with complex mental health needs. We provide bespoke packages of care for people with enduring mental illness, including people with forensic histories who may be subject to home office restrictions. The service are also able to support individuals transitioning from child to adult services once they are 18.

The service can offer a variety of care pathways from long term placements, through to intensive rehabilitation periods and respite placements.

The specialist service comprises of:

• 18 ensuite bedrooms

• 14 of which come with an independent kitchenette
• Fully equipped assessment kitchen
• Games room
• Training room

Meadow Court has a multi-disciplinary team comprising of clinical and non-clinical staff.

This includes counselling psychology, occupational therapy, nursing, and specialist mental

health recovery workers. Meadow Court is a 24-hour nursing service with full disabled access.

We are uniquely placed in Tipton for people to access to community services throughout the surrounding area.

Meadow Court is a psychology and occupational therapy led service, and accepts referrals

for residents with co-morbidity including substance and non-compliance problems, dual

diagnosis, psychosis, personality disorders, neuroses and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Our counselling psychologist takes an integrated person-centred approach to her practice

utilising DBT, CBT, and EMDR . Our bespoke recovery model can tailor make the facilities

of the service to meet the needs of the individual.

It is our intention that Meadow Court becomes a beacon of light to individuals who have

not yet achieved recovery. We believe that a holistic approach away from a hospital

setting can promote a self of wellbeing thus reducing symptoms and maximising a

persons potential
