Dear Sarah,

My mother became a residence at Aldergrove Manor in May this year, we looked after our parents at home with 24 hr care, sadly our father passed away on the  2nd of March, our Mother's dementia went worse and she was in hospital for four weeks the specialist said she Needed to go to a dementia home, which upset us all especially very close to our father passing away, we all found that very difficult with all that has happened.

It's so amazing how our mother has settled in Jeanette the manager is so loverly and approachable and is very caring and so is all the staff, if we need something or ask a question its done they do some activity daily that our mother enjoys.

They did a party for a residence who was 100, they celebrated the queens birthday with having a singer and to see all the residence of all the home singing and smiling and the care of the staff made me very emotional it was amazing, we go everyday to see our mom today she said how happy she is there, on Saturday they are doing tennis final day we can leave there knowing she's happy and safe, and having the home refurbed is a plus too.
