Good Morning Jeanette, We had a phone call today from Social Services, explaining about their recent visit to see Peter for his "Best Interest Review".

She explained why she had visited and said that Peter was a lovely gentleman, she convinced him that she wasn't there to make any changes or to move him from Briery Lodge, she said she was aware of his concerns regarding this, I explained it was past history that worried him.

She said she was completely happy for him to be at Briery Lodge, that this would be in the report she has to take to "panel" and she also stated that she was very impressed by the way the staff met Peter's needs and provided his care and the way Briery Lodge was run, she could see that Peter was happy, had an active social life, with restrictions only being in place as and when necessary to keep him safe, and that he had support at all times.

His next review I'll be in twelve months time.
