Impressions of Benton House

Impressions of Benton House

It is never the wrong time to call at Benton. Even on the day when my sister and I popped in for a look around and it was a busy lunch time; we were still made to feel welcome and given every attention.

Benton is a real home; routine and time tables are secondary to the needs of the residents, who are each given all the individual attention they need. All their little ways are very well known and staff are swiftly on hand for any needs that arise.

Most staff have been at Benton for a very long time and they work as a very efficient team. The management is relaxed and supportive but strong and even when the snow did its worst this winter the staff were there and nothing was neglected.

Family of residents always feel welcome and supported and their suggestions respected and followed up. We all feel part of the family at Benton House and confident that our much loved relative is not just in professional but caring hands. All are respected and valued as they are, individuals with very different needs.

Not to be missed are the social events and families, friends and residents have a wonderful time together. I have very happy memories of recent Halloween, Bonfire and Christmas parties and look forward to the next on Valentine's Day!

Having sampled the food at parties and regularly seen meals served to the residents, I can vouch for it being of very high quality and attractively presented.

Since my father became a resident at Benton House my sleepless nights have stopped because I know he could not be in better hands.
