Delves Court Care Home Overview

Delves Court is situated on the outskirts of Walsall Town, with excellent transport links with the nearby M6 & M5. The service benefits from a range of local amenities including shops, restaurants and cinema which the residents regularly use. The home has an active role within the local community as well as the local community being welcomed into the service.

The service has recently been refurbished creating a fresh and homely atmosphere. Residents are encouraged to personalise their own spaces as well as have a valued input into both the running of the home and their support. 

Delves Court is spread across 3 floors all of which have a large lounge area with a lovely homely feel. Most bedrooms have their own en-suite facilities and for those that don't, fully equipped bathrooms are located on each floor. 

Staff are trained in accordance with the needs of the service users in our care and a full person centred care and support plan is created for each individual with involvement from the service user, staff, healthcare professionals and family members.

A family member commented:

'My mother says you cannot find a nicer place to live and it's like a 5 star hotel, her room is beautiful and newly refurbished. From management to all staff they work hard to provide the best of care and attention to detail to make sure that Delves Court is the best it can be and to provide the care and love given to not only mom but also every resident.'

The activities provided at Delves Court are second to none, the activities staff take into account the residents personal preferences as well as their cultural and religious needs to develop a full range of activities. Themed days are organised in line with special events throughout the year. The community are welcomed into the home for fetes and fully support fund raising events and the local nursery school are working closely with our activities team and service users on 6 weekly programmes including activities such as arts and crafts and baking. Pub lunches and regular shopping trips form just part of the varied weekly activities programme.
