Ashgrove Care Home by Select Healthcare has passed an unannounced inspection with flying colours and received an ‘excellent’ grade in every area: leadership and management, care and support and environment & activities.
Sharon Moss, area manager, Gary Dodd, general manager and Marie Dougherty, care manager of the home, express their delight with the result.
‘We have always had good reports when inspected, but to get an excellent in every domain is absolutely outstanding. We are the only home in Wrexham to achieve this,’ said Marie who joined our team at Select Healthcare six years ago.
‘When we got the call and the draft report, Gary, Sharon and myself were blown away,’ she shared.
Marie expressed her appreciation for each and every Select staff member who works hard every day to make sure residents live to the fullest, including the care, kitchen and laundry teams, as well as activity coordinators and maintenance staff.
Ashgrove Care Home is located in the village of Gresford and offers residential care for up to 51 people aged 50 and over.
