About Woodcote Hall Residential Home

Woodcote Hall is a care home which provides accommodation for 56 residents located within the picturesque village of Woodcote in Shropshire.

A grand reception hallway, elegant sweeping staircase, large homely fireplace, lift and staircase to gallery create a friendly welcome to this beautiful stately home. Woodcote Hall is rich in history, dating as far back as Doomsday book and retains the unspoilt and uninterrupted views of its 25 acres of beautiful Shropshire countryside and gardens. The changing seasons and the vast array of wildlife can be viewed from almost every window and this stately home of elegance and spacious beauty blends well with the care needs of today.

Responsibilities

  • To look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centered care and support
  • Lead and take responsibility of a team of dedicated care assistants alongside the home and deputy manager
  • Support and work alongside the management team including the area manager in regards to care plans, reviews and assessments
  • Liaise with other health and social care professionals involved with the care of our residents
  • Form meaningful and respectful relationships with residents and their families

Experience

  • Previous experience working as a Senior Care Assistant in a residential care setting
  • NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care is essential
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Medication administration trained
  • Confident with providing personal care
  • Show that you are confident writing care plans and assessments
