About Cromwell Court Care Home

Cromwell Court benefits from excellent transport links to both Liverpool and Manchester as well as the local town of Warrington where residents have the opportunity to partake in numerous community based activities. Cromwell Court is a purpose built care home located just a short distance from the town centre of Warrington and can be easily reached by public transport.

The home has 33 residential dementia beds which are all ground floor rooms with en-suite facilities. There are two households within the home, Crossfields which has 17 beds and Rylands with16 beds.

Both households were fully refurbished in early 2017. Each house contains a dining room with kitchen facility and open plan lounge with all new furnishings and fittings and a secure courtyard can be accessed from both houses. Rylands even has a resident cat and Crossfields has a dog.

Responsibilities

  • To look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centered care and support
  • Lead and take responsibility of a team of dedicated care assistants alongside the home and deputy manager
  • Support and work alongside the management team including the area manager in regards to care plans, reviews and assessments
  • Liaise with other health and social care professionals involved with the care of our residents
  • Form meaningful and respectful relationships with residents and their families

Experience

  • Previous experience working as a Senior Care Assistant in a residential care setting
  • NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care is essential
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Medication administration trained
  • Confident with providing personal care
  • Show that you are confident writing care plans and assessments
