Hours: Full Time - 3 nights per week

Shifts: Nights 8:00pm - 8:00am

Jubilee Court:

Jubilee Court is a care home for Adult Service Users with Physical Disabilities, Acquired Brain Injury and Degenerative Neurological Disorders, requiring a continuum of care, through a structured programme of rehabilitation.

Jubilee Court is a specialist service with 3 areas of accommodation that support individual needs.

We have a team of staff that are trained in the care of clients with Neurological conditions, we also have a qualified Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist to carry out initial assessment and provide guidance on future support. Our focus is on promoting independence with clients and integrating them in the community where appropriate to do so. Our rehabilitation services are excellent within Jubilee court and we have good links with local community activity alongside our own rehabilitation team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the well-being of our residents, including making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met
  • Lead, motivate and mentor your team and provide clinical guidance and training to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home
  • Carry out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our service users
  • Essential nursing tasks and duties including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions
  • Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies and legislation
  • Promote our service users independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care and strive for continuous improvement
  • Communicate and liaise with other professionals involved in the well being and care of our residents. As well as family members and other staff members

Experience required:

  • Qualified Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
  • UK PIN number
  • Enthusiastic and dynamic
  • Professional and compassionate
  • Work within the NMC code of Practice
  • Computer literate
  • Motivated to work within a multidisciplinary setting
  • Able to work flexible shift patterns
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
