Shifts: 8:00am - 8:00pm

We currently have 30 care homes covering Mental Health, Nursing, Learning Difficulties, Rehabilitation, Challenging behaviors and residential care.

Ashgrove Care Home:

Ashgrove Residential Home boasts a brand new 10 bedded Dementia Care Unit.

Ashgrove Residential Home is set in the quaint village of Gresford in Wrexham. Its central location offers ease of access to both Wrexham and Chester. The Home offers residential care for to up to 51 people aged 50 years and over. The management team at Ashgrove prides itself on recruiting the very best standard of care workers in the area to ensure those residing in the home receive professional, person-centred and passionate care.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality personal care in an enabling environment
  • Work alongside home, deputy, area manager and admin
  • Support service users in a range of activities and to access the local community
  • Provide Person-centered care
  • Complete in-house and regulatory documentation to a high standard
  • Liaise with professionals, relatives and advocates
  • Attend staff and team meetings
  • Undertake all required training
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures

Experience/qualifications required:

  • Previous experience working within a residential care home preferably working with those with dementia
  • Good communication skills
  • Level 2 Health and Social care (minimum) is preferable
  • Candidates must be fully flexible over a 7 day working rota. Able to work weekends and bank holidays
  • Willing to cover sickness/annual leave when required
