Care Assistant

Hours: Full Time Carers (Day and Nights)

Salary: £7.83ph

Ramsgate care centre:

Ramsgate Care Centre is a residential home located close to the town centre and Royal Harbour which provides accomodation for 41 residents.

Every new resident is provided with a personal care plan and introduced to a member of staff who will befriend them and their family, look after their personal shopping needs and assist with any concerns or worries. Ramsgate Care Centre is located close to the town centre with easy access to local amenities and all major motorways and rail routes.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide high quality personal care in an enabling environment
• Support service users in a range of activities and to access the local community
• Provide Person-centered care
• Complete in-house and regulatory documentation to a high standard
• Liaise with professionals, relatives and advocates
• Attend staff and team meetings
• Undertake all required training
• Undertake any other reasonable duties commensurate with the role of Care & Support Worker
• Adhere to all policies and procedure

Experience/qualifications required:

• Previous experience working within a nursing or care home is required
• Level 2 Health and Social care is desirable although not essential
• Candidates must be fully flexible over a 7 day working rota. Able to work weekends and bank holidays
• Willing to cover sickness/annual leave when required
